Grand Canyon “rim2rim2rim” Adventure: Part III
Leading a FIT life does not require a treadmill, aerobics class or even a dumbbell. Above all, it requires 2 things. Desire and enthusiasm.
Over time everything gets stale if its repetitive. You don’t have to travel to a canyon or purchase expensive equipment.
Nature is free. Sometimes all we need is new scenery. Or a new buddy to talk to on a walk.
When you have desire and enthusiasm, commitment isn’t a battle but a reward.

Grand Canyon “rim2rim2rim” Adventure: Part I
There is a big difference in mindset when you must reach a destination versus when you want or should reach it.
When there is no way out, our brains and bodies have a way of cooperating.
A year in advance, my husband and I planned this adventure. To run rim to rim to rim of the canyon in 2 consecutive days. I hadn’t run much on trails but that didn’t matter. I was itching to explore gorgeous terrain on foot. My husband agreed.
